I have been invited for ABOSS Artist by my Agency, how does it work?

This article will help you get started on using ABOSS as an invited Artist

When you are invited by your agency to use ABOSS as an Artist, you will receive an email with instructions to set up your account. Click on 'Setup Profile' if you haven't already. 

You'll be presented with a registration page where you can setup your password and register your account.


Login
To login to ABOSS, navigate to artist.a-boss.net and sign in with your emailaddress and password. 

If by any chance you've lost your password, you can create a new one by clicking 'Forgot your Password?' on the login screen. We advise you to use Google Chrome for the best user experience. 

When logged in, you will be directed to your Dashboard. 

On the left side of your screen you will be presented with the following options:

  • Dashboard, here you will see your upcoming shows in the next few days. 

  • Calendar, Here you can browse through your calendar an view your shows.

  • Overview, This is the list view of your upcoming shows and an overview of eventdetails.

  • Changelog, Changes made to ABOSS will be visible here.
    Note: not all updates might be relevant as some modules are locked. 

When you have been invited for multiple projects you can switch between projects here:

Profile settings
To view or edit your personal details click on your name and select profile settings. Here you can upload an Profile picture and change your Password. 

Dashboard
The Dashboard will show you your upcoming shows in the next few days. 

Calendar
The calendar view will give you an overview of your shows per month. Events can have different colors depending on their status. Orange events are shows that are in 'Option', while green shows are 'Confirmed' shows.

Travel items, such as Hotels and Flights are shown in the calendar by default. You can hide them by flipping the switch in the top right corner of ABOSS.

Within the Calendar view you have a few more options. 

Block your Calendar
You can block your calendar, so the Agency knows when you're not available.

Overview
The 'overview' section will give you some more detailed view of your events. Click on the 'Select columns' button to select which information is relevant to you as an Artist or Crew member.

You can save your selection (optional) by clicking the 'Column templates' button. Type in a name and save it by pressing 'Enter'.

If you want to export information from your 'overview' page you can click on the 'Export' button. 

Event information and Itinerary
You can open events from the Dashboard, Calendar and Overview pages by clicking on the event. 

The event page will show you some detailed information about the event. You can see the Location of the event, event files, optional notes, set times, etc. You can also see if the event is set to be shared on Facebook or Bandsintown. If 'Set event public' is switched on, the event will be shared on Social media. 

Note: The fees are not being showed by default. The agency has to grant you permissions to see the fees. 

Event files
If the agency connected files to this event, they will be visible here. The itinerary PDF will be shown as an event file with all the advancing details the Agency filled out for you.

Note: The itinerary.pdf needs to be shared by the Agency, otherwise it will not be visible.

The more information the agency enters for you, the more information will be available to you as the artist.

ABOSS App
We have built the ABOSS App. You can download the app from the App Store and Google Play:

You can login with your emailaddress and password. With the App you can view your events and information on the go. The App also works offline. 

Important note
ABOSS is read only for the Artists that are invited by an Agency. It's designed to let you view the information that your bookings agency filled out for you. You can not add events or edit events yourself.
