In a recent Google Chrome update (Version 68.0.3440.106), there is a problem when opening PDF files in the browser. The file opens and after a few seconds the page turns completely blank.

Below you can read how you can resolve this issue.&nbsp;

Chrome Settings Open the 'Settings' menu by clicking the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser.

A new browser window will open. Scroll all the way down and click on 'Advanced'.

Scroll further down to the 'System' settings.&nbsp;

Disable the 'Use hardware acceleration when available' switch.&nbsp;

Restart Google Chrome Completely shut down your browser and restart to apply the settings.

Your PDF's should stay open again after applying these settings.&nbsp;
