The Booking Fee can be calculated in either a percentage or a fixed amount that will be deducted from the Gross Fee.

Booking Fee Types

  • Exclusive
The Booking Fee will be calculated from the Gross Fee but will be added on top. Example; $ 1,000 Fee with 10% Exclusive Booking Fee will result in $ 1,000 Due to Artist and $ 100 Due to Booker.

  • Inclusive
The Booking Fee will be calculated from the Gross Fee and will be deducted from the Due to Artist.
Example; $ 1,000 Fee with 10% Inclusive Booking Fee will result in $ 900 Due to Artist and $ 100 Due to Booker.

Calculation

When you select the inclusive booking fee there are 2 options to calculate the Booking Fee:

  • Fee is 100%
This will calculate the percentage straight from the Gross Fee.
    Example; 10% of $ 1,000 will result in a $ 100 Booking Fee.

  • Fee is 100% + % Booking Fee
This will calculate the percentage from the Gross Fee after adding the Booking Fee.
    Example; 10% of $ 1,000 will result in a $ 90.90 Booking Fee.
    (We see $ 1,000 as 110% (100% + 10% Booking Fee), effectively calculating 9.09% from $ 1,000))

Booking Fee Percentage

Enter the percentage value to be used in the calculation for the Booking Fee. The percentage will be taken from the Gross Fee as Booking Fee and added to the Due to Booker.
*When both the percentage and amount field have been entered, the system will use the percentage value to calculate the Booking Fee.

Booking Fee Amount

Enter the amount in your selected currency to be used as Booking Fee. The Booking Fee will be added to the Due to Booker.
