You have probably all noticed this at some point; someone deleted an event, invoice, contract or location by accident. How do you retrieve this item?

In case someone accidentally deleted such an item, you have the option to retrieve it and undo the delete action. 

Note: The History section is only available for user with administrate permissions for the Office section. If you lack these permissions, please contact your Administrative user to retrieve the item. 

To view the recently deleted items, click on Office.

Here you will find the History menu. Click on deleted items to view the list. 

The deleted items are shown per category.

  • Events
  • Invoices
  • Contracts
  • Locations

Events
Here you will find the recently deleted events. The view will show you some information about the event. You will see the name of the Project, the dates and times of the event, The event title and you will see when the event was deleted and by who. 

To retrieve a deleted event, simply click the 'Undo' button. The event will now be put back into the Calendar of ABOSS. 

Invoices
ABOSS keeps track of recently deleted invoices. You will see the invoice number and the client linked to the invoice. You will see the invoice amounts and you will see when the invoice was deleted and by who. 

To retrieve a deleted invoice, simply click the 'Undo' button. The invoice will now be put back into the administration.  

Contracts
The same applies to deleted contracts. You will see the contract number and the client contact linked to the contract. You will see when the contract was deleted and by who. 

To retrieve a deleted contract, simply click the 'Undo' button. The contract will be put back into the administration.  

Locations
Locations will show the location title, the address and when the location was deleted and by who.

To retrieve a deleted location, simply click the 'Undo' button. The location will be put back into the administration.  

Important note: Deleted items without a contract or invoice number will be harder to pinpoint. Please set them back at your own risk!

The history only goes back so far. When you are looking for items that were deleted a year back, they probably won't be visible in the recently deleted items. Contact support, if you can't find the item you are looking for.
