1. What is Planboss?
Planboss is the first free app from SAPPS, powered by the ABOSS API. It allows you to instantly check which artists are available on specific dates, helping you make faster booking decisions.
Key features:
Search artist's availability by date
View artist schedules for the entire week
See shows and travel items at a glance
Share access with your team members
Important: Artist availability is based on show dates. It does not include region protection. Shared events and travel items are coming soon.
2. Connect Your ABOSS Account
To access Planboss, you need your ABOSS API Key. Only the API Key Manager for your account can generate this key.
Note: If you're not the API Key Manager and need access, contact your account administrator or reach out via our support chat.
Step 1: Generate Your API Key
Log into ABOSS
Go to Office
Navigate to API Key
Generate your key
Step 2: Connect Planboss
Download Planboss at planboss.ai
Log in to the app
Paste your API Key
This process takes approximately two minutes.
3. Use Planboss
Check Availability
Select a date from the calendar at the top
Click the search icon
View available artists
Planboss only shows artists who do not have a show on the selected date.
Calendar Icons Explained
When viewing results, you'll see different colored icons next to artist names:
Yellow calendar with < — Artist has a show before this date
Blue calendar with > — Artist has a show after this date
Purple paper plane — Artist has a travel item on this date
View Full Week Schedule
Click on any artist to view their complete schedule for the week around your selected date.
4. Share Access with Your Team
Only the API Key Manager can grant access to team members.
Steps:
Click the cloud icon on the left sidebar
Select Share Access
Enter the email address of the ABOSS user from your agency
Click Share Access
You can see which team members already have access in this section. All team members you add must be existing users in your ABOSS account.
