The Bonuses feature in ABOSS allows you to add dynamic bonuses to your financial deals. Each bonus consists of a trigger point (when the bonus activates) and a bonus value (the action that occurs once activated). This flexibility helps you adjust the financial structure based on event performance, such as ticket sales or occupancy.

1. Triggers ("Select a bonus type")

Bonuses are activated once certain conditions or triggers are met. These triggers allow you to automatically apply bonuses based on the event’s performance metrics.

  • Total Tickets Sold: The bonus activates when the total number of tickets sold reaches a predefined threshold.

  • Nett Ticket Revenue: The bonus activates when the total nett ticket revenue hits a certain value.

  • Gross Ticket Revenue: The bonus activates when the total gross ticket revenue reaches the specified amount.

  • Occupancy Percentage: The bonus activates when the event's occupancy percentage reaches a set target.

2. Bonus Types

Once a bonus is triggered, different types of bonuses can be applied to the deal:

  • Fee: A one-time fee is added to the Gross Fee when the bonus is activated.

  • Deal %: When the bonus activates, ticket sales from that point forward are calculated with an updated ticket percentage.

  • Deal % Upgrade: Upon activation, the entire ticket percentage for the deal is updated, including sales that have already occurred.

  • Bonus Per Ticket: A bonus fee is added for each additional ticket sold after the trigger point is reached.

3. Bonus Progress and Activation

ABOSS provides real-time feedback on the status of your bonuses. Each bonus displays its current progress based on the event's performance at that moment:

  • Active Bonuses: Once a bonus is triggered, the resulting value is displayed on the right side in a green box. This amount is automatically added to the Gross Fee.

  • Incomplete Bonuses: If the bonus hasn't been activated yet, ABOSS shows the current progress by displaying the percentage of completion toward the trigger point.

4. Example: Calculating a Bonus

Suppose you add a bonus of $2 for each ticket sold after 250 tickets are sold. When 300 tickets are sold, this will result in a bonus of $100:

(300 tickets sold - 250 tickets) = 50 tickets * $2 = $100 bonus

This bonus will automatically be added to the Gross Fee once the trigger point is met.
