Tracking ticket sales can be essential, especially for keeping up with pre-sales, discounts, and other categories. This article explains how to manage ticket sales for your event in ABOSS, add ticket groups, update ticket counts, and view total sales.

  2. Entering Ticket Sales

  3. Setting Nett and Gross Prices

  4. Marking an Event as Sold Out

  5. Viewing and Editing Ticket Sales in the Dashboard

  6. Updating Deals Based on Ticket Sales

1. Adding and Managing Ticket Groups

  1. Go to the Ticket Sales tab within your event.

  2. If you’re here for the first time, you’ll need to create a ticket group:

    • Enter a ticket group name (e.g., pre-sale, discount, or any ticket type) and press Enter.

    • Alternatively, click the plus (+) button to create a ticket group without entering a name.

2. Entering Ticket Sales

  1. Once at least one ticket group is created, enter the total ticket count per group.

    • Tip: Always input the updated total, as the system automatically calculates the difference since the last entry to track sales progress.

  2. Click on the blue amount to add a new ticket sale entry.

  3. Press Enter or Save to save the entry. The date of entry will automatically be recorded.

  4. To edit an entry, click on any sales point to change the amount, date, ticket group name, or prices.

3. Setting Nett and Gross Prices

  1. Enter the nett and/or gross prices for ticket sales.

  2. The Ticket Statement section above will display the Total Nett/Gross Revenue based on these inputs.

  3. Ensure all entries are saved by pressing Enter.

  4. You can also download your ticket sales data from the Ticket Statement to Excel.

4. Marking an Event as Sold Out

  1. If your event is sold out, mark the Sold Out field in the Ticket Sales tab.

  2. When enabled correctly, this status will display as "Sold Out" on your website as well.

5. Viewing and Editing Ticket Sales in the Dashboard

  1. View your ticket sales totals in the Dashboard by selecting Ticket Sold in the Select Columns section.

    • If marked, the Sold Out status will also display here.

  2. Click on the ticket sale amount in the Dashboard to open a pop-up where you can update ticket sales for each ticket group.

  3. If you’re unable to click on the amount, ensure a ticket group is created in the event’s Ticket Sales tab first. Updates can then be managed directly from the Dashboard.

6. Updating Deals Based on Ticket Sales

If you’re tracking Nett/Gross ticket sales, any changes will also appear in the Deal section of your artist statement.
