Creating an Artist Statement with ABOSS

With ABOSS, you can easily create an Artist Statement. Here’s how to do it:

Steps to Create an Artist Statement

  1. Select Your Artist:

    • Under "All Projects," choose the project corresponding to the artist you want to create a statement for.

  2. Date Selection:

    • Select the time range for the events. For example, if you want to include all events taking place in January, set the date range accordingly.

    • To make statements for other artists without changing the date selection, click the lock icon to lock the date range.

  3. Select Your Columns:

    • Choose the columns you want to display on the Artist Statement.

  4. Save the Selection (Once):

    • Once satisfied with your selection, save it as a dashboard template.

    • Click on the "Column templates" icon, name your selection (e.g., "Artist Statement"), and save it. This allows you to quickly switch between different dashboard selections. This article tells you all in detail on how to save your selection.

  5. Export the File:

    • Click on the "Export selection" icon and choose "Download Artist Statement." The PDF file will open in a new browser tab.

  6. Save or Print:

    • You have the option to print or save the file. Download the file to send it to the artist.

Final Steps

You are now done exporting the file. To create a statement for another artist, select a different project.
