This article will help you get started on using ABOSS as an invited Artist

When you are invited by your agency to use ABOSS as an Artist, you will receive an email with instructions to set up your account. Follow these steps to get started.

ABOSS is read-only for artists invited by an Agency. It allows you to view information filled out by your bookings agency. You cannot add or edit events yourself. For the paid version of ABOSS Artist, visit www.abossmusic.com.

1. Getting Started

All users, whether existing or new, will receive an email invitation when they are invited by their agency to use ABOSS as an Artist. This email contains instructions for setting up your account.

Existing ABOSS Users

If you already have an ABOSS account, you can simply click the 'Sign In with your current account' link provided in the invitation email. Once logged in, the new project will automatically appear in your ABOSS Artist environment.

New ABOSS Users

If you are new to ABOSS, start by clicking the 'Setup your account' button in the invitation email. You’ll be prompted to create a password, adjust your display name, and then click 'Sign Up' to complete the registration process.

After registration, you can log in to ABOSS Artist by navigating to artist.a-boss.net in any browser. Additionally, you have the option to download the ABOSS App for iOS and Android. For more information about the app, refer to this article.

2. Navigating the ABOSS Interface

On the left side of your screen, you will find the following options:

  1. Dashboard: View your upcoming shows in the next few days.

  2. Calendar: Browse through your calendar and view your shows.

    1. Feed Button: Generate a link to import your events into your calendar feed. More details here.

    2. Facebook Button: Connect ABOSS to your Facebook page to show upcoming events under 'Tour dates'.

    3. Bandsintown Button: Connect ABOSS to your Bandsintown account.

    4. Block Your Calendar: Inform your agency of your availability. Learn how here.

  3. Overview: See a list view of your upcoming shows and event details.

  4. Changelog: View changes made to ABOSS. Note that not all updates may be relevant as some modules are locked.

If you have been invited to multiple projects, you can switch between projects when clicking "All Projects".

3. Profile Settings

View or Edit Personal Details

Click on your name and select Profile Settings. Here, you can upload a profile picture and change your password.

4. Event Information and Itinerary

Event Details

Open events from the Dashboard, Calendar, or Overview pages to view detailed information such as location, event files, optional notes, set times, etc. If 'Set event public' is enabled, the event will be shared on social media.

Event Files

If the agency has attached files to the event, they will be visible here. The itinerary PDF includes all advancing details provided by the agency. Note: The itinerary PDF needs to be shared by the agency to be visible.

5. Using the ABOSS App

Download the ABOSS App to view your events and information on the go. The app also works offline.

Login with your email address and password.
