How to Block Your Calendar for Personal Events in ABOSS

With ABOSS, you can easily block your calendar for personal events, ensuring that your Agency is aware of your availability. This feature helps you and your Agency save time and avoid scheduling conflicts. Follow these steps to effectively block your calendar:

Step 1: Navigate to the Calendar

  1. Select the Project: If you are invited to multiple projects, make sure to select the specific project before setting the block. Ensure you are not working under "All Projects".

  2. Access the Calendar: Go to the Calendar section in ABOSS.

Step 2: Add a New Block

  1. Initiate the Block: Click on the day you want the block to start in the calendar. A popup window will appear.

  2. Block Icon: Clock on the block icon.

  3. Set the Dates: Use the date picker to select the date range for the block. You can choose to register "All Day" events or set specific times for partial day blocks.

  4. Save the Block: Click on "Save Block" to add the block to your calendar.

Step 3: Edit or Remove the Block

  1. Edit the Block: To make changes, click on the block in your calendar. A popup window will appear where you can modify the dates and times. Click "Save Block" to save your changes.

  2. Delete the Block: To remove the block, click on it and select "Delete This Block Event".

Share with the Agency

Automatic Sharing: When you are sharing data with an Agency who is also using ABOSS, your Agency will automatically see it in their calendar. This visibility helps them know when you are not available for bookings, preventing scheduling conflicts.
