iCal

In this this article we used the notification functionality of iCal.

It's also possible to use the notification of, for example Google calendar (see examples on the bottom of this article). Please note that Google will update the events once every 24 hours. In iCal you can update with a refresh or you can set the number of minutes.

Go to 'All Projects' in the left top corner and click on the calendar icon.

Click on a day in the calendar and select one of the two icons at the bottom of your pop up window.

  • The first one is for personal use; only you will be able to see those.

  • The second one is for team use; every team member with 'Agency permissions' to the Agency Calendar.

Permissions to the 'Agency Office Calendar'

You'll need at least 'view permission' on the Agency Calendar to access this area.

Go to: Office - Team management - [user] - Agency Permissions - Agency Events

Adding a 'Personal item'

Moving items around

Click on the FEED button in the top left corner to get your ICS feed to connect ABOSS to your iCal and/or Google cal. In this example we're getting the personal feed.

Example of a notification; the title is your description own of course πŸ˜„.

You can create and change the title in ABOSS and you can add additional notes, files, location for your meeting, etc.

A nice feature in iCal are the snooze options.

Options in Google cal (updates only once every 24 hours)

  • Notification for any item/event with a start time.

  • Notification for an 'all day' item/event.

  • Notifications for updates in items/events
