Archiving and Unarchiving Invoice and Contract Templates

If you have templates you no longer use but don’t want to delete, archiving them is the perfect solution! Archiving keeps your templates linked to past invoices while reducing clutter when selecting a template. You can always unarchive a template to bring it back into the list when needed.

Table of Contents

  1. Archiving a Template

  2. Unarchiving a Template

1. Archiving a Template

To archive a template, follow these steps:

  • Go to Office.

  • Select either Invoice Templates or Contract Templates.

  • In the template list, you’ll find three icons at the end of each template’s line. Click on the middle icon (which displays 'visible' when you hover over it).

This will archive the template, and it will no longer appear in your active template list.

2. Unarchiving a Template

To unarchive a template, follow these steps:

  • Go to Office.

  • Select either Invoice Templates or Contract Templates.

  • Scroll to the bottom of your template list, where you’ll find the archived templates (these will be greyed out).

  • Click on the middle icon at the end of the line (which displays 'archived' when you hover over it).

This will unarchive the template, bringing it back into your active template list.
