1. Introduction to the Payments Feature
The ABOSS Payments feature integrates with Mollie, a trusted payment provider. By using this feature, you can add payment links or QR codes to your invoices, enabling your clients to pay instantly. This streamlines your financial processes, giving you more control and reducing the time between invoicing and receiving payments.
2. Key Benefits of the Payments Feature
Faster Payments: Including payment links or QR codes on your invoices allows your clients to pay immediately. This reduces payment delays, improves cash flow, and ensures quicker access to your funds.
Streamlined Process: Payments are processed directly through Mollie, and once a client completes a payment, the invoice status is automatically updated in ABOSS. You no longer need to manually track and update payment statuses, saving you time and effort.
Increased Control and Transparency: By using the Payments feature, you gain more insight into your financial processes. You can track payment statuses in real-time, ensuring that you always know when a payment is completed or pending.
3. Limitations
Supported Currencies: The Payments feature currently only supports EUR invoices. Other currencies will be added in future updates.
Minimum Invoice Value: The minimum invoice value for payments via Mollie is set at β¬100.
Partial Payments: At this time, partial payments are not supported, meaning the full invoice amount must be paid in a single transaction.
Initially, we offer only standard bank transfer options by default, including iDEAL, Bancontact, and SEPA bank transfers (not the direct debit version). Mollie manages these, but customers will receive the payment back from us during settlement.
Additional payment methods (such as credit cards) are not offered by default. Customers can activate these options directly in their Mollie account, where Mollie will apply transaction fees accordingly.
