This article will show you how you can get more control over your events by using Event labels.

Organize and Highlight Your Events with Custom Labels

With Event Labels, you can categorize your shows, making them more visible in your dashboard and calendar views. Labels help you quickly find events based on certain criteria and make your workflow more efficient.

1. Label Database

To create new labels:

  • Navigate to Event Labels.
    In the menu, go to Office:

    And click on Event Labels:

  • Label Database

    You are now in the Label Database. Here, you can add and delete labels. If you'd like to assign a specific color to your label, click the colored dot and choose any color you prefer.

  • Add Label

    Enter your label name and click Save. You can also add labels directly to an event, as explained below.

  • Star Your Labels for Visibility

    To ensure your labels are visible in the calendar or dashboard view, click on the star icon next to the label.

  • Color Your Label

    Give your label a color, to make these types of events more visible in calendar and dashboard.

  • Delete Your Label

    Click on the bin icon to delete your label. Note: Deleted labels will be removed from all events, this cannot be restored.

2. Assigning Labels to Your Event

To add a label to an event:

  • Navigate to Your Event
    Open the event you want to label via dashboard or calendar, and click on "Add a label...".

  • Use Auto-Complete
    An auto-complete feature will show labels you’ve previously created or used, preventing duplicate labels. Simply click on the label to assign it to the event.

  • Remove Label from Your Event

    Click the X next to the label, te remove the label from the event.

3. Dashboard and Calendar Display

The colors you’ve selected for your labels will be displayed in both the dashboard and calendar views:

  • Dashboard
    Your events will be color-coded, making it easy to recognize specific types of shows at a glance.

    Quick Search
    You can also use the search bar in the dashboard to easily find all shows with a specific label, streamlining your event management. For more on Dashboard search, check out this article.

  • Calendar
    Similarly, your calendar will reflect the colors you’ve assigned to the labels, providing a clear overview.
