Adding an Approver to an External Advancing Request in ABOSS
When you send an External Advancing Request, you are initially the only person who can approve it. However, adding a second or third approver is simple. This article will guide you through the process of adding additional approvers.

1. Accessing the Request
To manage your External Advancing Request:
Navigate to the request in ABOSS by clicking the bell icon in the top right.
Click on the title of the request you want to view or resend.
2. Adding an Approver
To add an additional approver to the request:
Click on the + Add approver button.
From the list, select a user who is already part of your environment to be a co-approver.
Note: You can only select from users that are part of your ABOSS environment.
After making any changes, don’t forget to press the Save button to confirm the new approver.
Once the additional approver is added, they will be able to see and interact with the request within their own environment.
3. Viewing Request History
If you’re unsure whether you've already sent the request or to whom it was sent:
Scroll to the bottom of the request and check the History section.
This will give you a clear record of any previous actions related to the request, including who has received it.
4. Other Useful Features
You can also take advantage of these additional features:
Send an External Advancing Request to another person.
Send a reminder for an External Advancing Request to prompt the recipient.
