Troubleshooting: Can't See or Edit the Deal Tab in Events

If you’re working in an event and can’t see or edit the Deal tab, there are a few common reasons that may be causing this issue.

Table of Contents

  1. Checking Permissions

  2. Shared Event Limitations

  3. Still Having Issues?

1. Checking Permissions

One of the most frequent reasons for this issue is related to permissions. Ensure that you have the correct permissions for the specific project.

Follow these steps to check or update permissions:

  • Go to Office.

  • Click Team Management.

  • To update permissions for a single project, click the plus sign next to the project.

  • To update permissions for multiple projects at once, use the selected projects option.

When you update permissions, you’ll see a pop-up where you can make adjustments:

  • None: Deals will be invisible, and the Deal tab will not be shown inside the Event.

  • View: Users can view the Deals but cannot edit them.

  • Manage: Users can create and edit Deals.

Permissions will update immediately once you select the correct option. For more information on permissions, check the following articles for Agency and Artist PRO, or consult your supervisor.

2. Shared Event Limitations

If the event was created by another Agency or Artist PRO and is being shared with you, the settings related to Deals are controlled by the sharing party.

In shared events:

  • Permissions are limited to None or View.

  • You cannot edit the Deal tab in a shared event.

3. Still Having Issues?

If you’ve verified permissions and the event sharing settings but are still having trouble, please contact us via Support Chat for further assistance.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve any issues related to viewing or editing the Deal tab in events. If you need further help, don’t hesitate to reach out!
