Why is my Deal tab not showing?

In ABOSS, your event contains several tabs such as Event, Deal, Advancing, and more. Occasionally, the Deal or Advancing tab might not be visible. This article will guide you through the steps to resolve this issue.

1. Check Your Permissions

The first thing to verify is your permissions. If the Deal or Advancing tab is not showing, it's likely that you do not have the necessary permissions to view it.

For Agency Users
For example, if you are missing the Deal or Advancing tab in the events of a project, it could be because you don’t have the appropriate access. Conversely, someone with the correct permissions will be able to see and view the Deal or Advancing tab.

For Artist PRO Users
If you are an Artist PRO user with the appropriate permissions, you will be able to view the Deal or Advancing tab.

For Artist/Crew Users
When you are added as an Artist or Crew member, the Agency can grant you permission to view the Deal and its information. If you need more details about the permissions setup, you should check with your Agency.

By default, you can view Advancing.

2. Shared Events

Another factor to check is if the event is shared. A shared event is one that another Agency or Artist has created and is sharing with your Agency.

The entity sharing the event can control what information is displayed, including whether or not the Deal or Advancing tab is shown. If you need the shared data to be modified, you will need to reach out to the person sharing the event.
