Adding a New Invoice in ABOSS: A Step-by-Step Guide

Managing invoices is a critical part of project management. In ABOSS, you can easily add a new invoice that is not linked to a project or event. Follow these simple steps to streamline your invoicing process:

Step 1: Navigate to the Project Environment

  1. Select the Project: At the top left corner of ABOSS, choose All Projects.

  2. Access the Invoice Section: Click on the "Invoices" item in the left menu to view the invoice list for the selected project.

Step 2: Add a New Invoice

  1. Initiate a New Invoice: Click on the "+" icon located next to the search input at the top of the invoice list. This will redirect you to a new invoice page.

  2. New Invoice Creation: Upon redirection, your new invoice will automatically appear in the invoice module.

Step 3: Additional Options and Customizations

  1. Link a Company or Contact: You can link a company or contact to the invoice by clicking on the chain button on the left side of the upper bar.

  2. Add Posts to Your Invoice:

    • Enter a description and an amount for the post.

    • Click on the green "+" icon to add the post to your invoice.

  3. Set Payment Deadline: Select a deadline for payments in days (counting from the invoice date).

  4. Change Currency: You have the option to change the currency in which you would like to send the invoice.

  5. You can now preview the PDF or send out the invoice.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your project invoices in ABOSS, ensuring accuracy and ease in your financial processes.

Note: The entered data, such as added in Deal-tab, will only display correctly on contracts and invoice PDFs if the templates are set up properly. Always double-check your PDFs before sending them out to ensure everything appears as expected.
