Connecting Contacts to a Location

Connecting contacts to specific locations can help streamline your organization and management of key personnel, such as location managers. This guide will walk you through how to add existing contacts to a location or create new ones, ensuring your contacts are linked correctly for easy reference.

1. Adding an Existing Contact to a Location

  • Go to your Location Database and open the location you want to link a contact to.

  • Click the Contacts tab.

  • Click the "+" icon to add a contact to the location.

  • In the search bar, type the name of the contact you’d like to link.

  • Select the contact from your existing list. It'll now be added to your location.

    Your location database will also view the added contacts. This makes it easy to search for specific locations, also based on the contacts added.

2. Adding a New Contact

  • If the contact does not already exist in your list, click “New Contact”.

  • Fill in the necessary details in the pop-up screen.

  • Once completed, click “Add Contact”.

    It'll now be added to your location.

    Your location database will also view the added contacts. This makes it easy to search for specific locations, also based on the contacts added.

3. Viewing Linked Locations

  • When you search for this contact in the contact database in the future, their linked locations will also be visible.

4. Deleting a Linked Contact from a Location

  • To remove a contact from a location, click the bin icon on the right side of their name.

  • The contact will be unlinked from the location, but will still remain in your contact list.
