1. How Region Protection Works
Once your region protection is set up, the system will automatically alert you if there is a conflict in the designated region when booking events. However, for the feature to work, accurate location data is critical.
2. Possible Issues with Locations
If region protection isn’t functioning, the problem may lie in the location settings. Each location must have longitude and latitude coordinates. You can find these coordinates at the bottom of the location’s edit page.
If you add a location using the Google input feature, the coordinates are automatically filled in. Without these coordinates, the region protection system cannot trigger any alerts.
3. Finding and Adding Coordinates
To find the correct coordinates:
Open Google Maps.
Locate your desired address.
Right-click on the location, and the coordinates will appear.
After obtaining the coordinates, add them to your location in ABOSS, and region protection will start working as intended.
