Sending Invoices via Email in ABOSS

After creating an invoice, you can easily send it via email to the linked contact person. Follow these simple steps to send your invoice through ABOSS.

Table of Contents

  1. Clicking the Mail Button

  2. Setting Up Your Email

  3. Sending Your Email

1. Clicking the Mail Button

Open the invoice you want to send. In your invoice view, click the mail button to start the process of sending the invoice via email.

2. Setting Up Your Email

A pop-up screen will appear where you can configure your email. Here’s what you can do:

  • TO: The invoice contact person is automatically added. You can add more recipients from your contact list or by manually entering email addresses.

  • CC: Add additional contacts as CC, either from your contact list or by entering email addresses.

  • BCC: Add contacts as BCC, from your contact list or by entering email addresses.

  • Subject: Enter a subject for the email. This can be automated using your mail templates.

  • Email: Use a standard mail template or create a custom message.

  • Attachment: Your invoice is automatically attached as a PDF. If you need to add more attachments, click the "+" button, select files from your database, and click 'attach to email'.

3. Sending Your Email

Once you're satisfied with the email setup, click the blue 'Send mail' button to send it. If you choose not to send the email, click 'Cancel' to discard it.

Note: The entered data, such as added in Deal-tab, will only display correctly on contracts and invoice PDFs if the templates are set up properly. Always double-check your PDFs before sending them out to ensure everything appears as expected.
