How to Manage Project Archiving

Project archiving is a great way to keep track of your active and archived projects. With archiving, you can decide which projects are in use and which are not.

Note: Projects that are set to be shared with other agencies will also move to 'Archived' in each respective agency's account if you archive them in your own account.

Table of Contents

  1. Active Projects

  2. Archived Projects

  3. How to Archive a Project

  4. How to Unarchive a Project

  5. Permissions for Archived Projects

1. Active Projects

Active projects are those that are fully in use. You can add events, create contracts and invoices, and perform any other necessary tasks.

2. Archived Projects

Archived projects remain visible within your account, but events cannot be created or changed. You can unarchive a project at any time.

3. How to Archive a Project

  1. Go to Office: Start by navigating to the Office section of your account.

  2. Project Management: Find the projects listed under Project Management.

  3. Archive Button: In every line of the project, locate the archive button on the right side.

  4. Click to Archive: Click on the archive button to archive the project.

You will now see a list of archived projects in the project management section.

4. How to Unarchive a Project

To unarchive a project, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the archived project in the project management section.

  2. Click the unarchive button next to the project's name.

Note: Only free projects can be archived. Artist PRO projects cannot be archived.

5. Permissions for Archived Projects

You can still set user permissions for archived projects. This means the project will still be available in the Dashboard, Calendar, and Statistics. If you remove user permissions, the project will not be visible in these sections.

Dashboard

  • Archived projects with user permissions can be viewed under All Projects.

  • You can select or deselect them using the Select Projects option.

Calendar

  • Archived projects with user permissions can be clicked to show or not show in the calendar.

Statistics

  • Archived projects with user permissions can be used in Statistics.

By managing your projects through archiving, you can maintain a clear and organized overview of all your active and inactive projects.
