Users with calendar view rights to a project calendar all have their personal ICS Feed for their local calendar. Subscribe to the project calendar with your calendar software on your phone or laptop.

Be aware: this link is connected to your personal account, therefor don't share it with other. If they also want an ICS Feed for their personal calendar, add them either as user or as Artist/Crew. From there they can create their own personal ICS Feed.

If you already have a subscription to a ICS feed and you want to change the settings, check out this article.

Retrieve the feed link

1. To add the feed to the calendar, open the calendar of the project you want to subscribe to and follow the following instructions. Select your project first.

Note: this does not work when you are working under the 'All Projects' calendar in case you are connected to multiple projects.

2. Open the Calendar.

3. Press the 'Feed' button at the top of the screen.

A popup screen will open. You can select here whatever you want to see: Interest events, yes or no - maybe no Blocks or Travel Items. Check or uncheck your boxes to make your choices.

Example for ABOSS Agency:

Example for ABOSS Artist:

4. Copy the link ending with '.ics'. This is the link you need to import the feed in your desired calendar.

5. What software do you use?
We have the following instructions available. Read below and find your instructions.

  • iOS Devices

  • Mac

  • Google Calendar

  • Microsoft Outlook

On iPhone or iPad
Please note: These instructions are based on the latest version of iOS. If you are running an older version, the settings names may be different.

Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords

Under Accounts select 'Add Account'.

In the next screen select 'Other' and select 'Add Subscribed Calendar'.
Add the URL of your feed in the Server field, press next and change the calendar name so you can identify the calendar and press Done.

On a Mac
Open the calendar on your Mac. Go to File > New Calendar Subscription.

Paste the URL from your ABOSS Calendar into the field that pops up.

Click Subscribe, and you’ll then be able to set some preferences (how frequently you want the calendar to update, if iCal should ignore attachments, etc).

On Google Calendar
Login to your Google Calendar account. Click on the '+' next to 'Add a coworker's calendar' and select 'From URL' .

Paste your ABOSS Calendar URL, then click 'Add Calendar'.

Important note: Google Calendar only syncs once every 24 hours, so tasks you added in ABOSS will not show up immediately in your calendar.

On Microsoft Outlook

Sign in to Outlook.com.

At the bottom of the page, you can select the calendar-sign.

In the navigation menu, go to "Add calendar".

Select "Subscribe from web".

You can here enter the URL you just copied from ABOSS.

Select "Import".
